Update December 1, 2021 – Filming Our Father’s Dream
Who doesn’t love an inspiring story? Filming Our Father’s Dream will be the beginning of a movement to help so many orphans!
Several years ago I read one of the most amazing stories I’ve ever heard. It was about two children whose parents were murdered by ruthless rebel forces and to escape, they had to walk across Africa. What they endured and how they managed to survive the almost 2,000-mile journey with only what they could carry, was nothing short of a miracle.
The story inspired me so much I decided to make a movie about it. We’re calling it Our Father’s Dream.
I’m proud to tell you we are in production and in the final stages of arranging the filming in Africa. We are on the ground scouting locations, arranging the logistics, and selecting talent.
We are going to film Our Father’s Dream in Kenya. Kenya is noted for its beautiful landscapes and wildlife preserves. Since it borders South Sudan, the scenery is very much like the scenery found where the story actually took place. Kenya is also has a thriving film industry which is conducive for filming Our Father’s Dream.
Filming Our Father’s Dream and Funding
A lot of the funding is in place. We are seeking additional help to pay for music, post-production, and other production-related expenses. As of yet, we do not have enough money to complete the film.
These additional funds will help us enhance the quality of the movie and bring this message of perseverance, hope, and kindness to a larger audience
