Our Father’s Dream May Change the Way You Look at Life

From a land where they still call women slaves, and where the lives of children are nearly worthless, comes one of the most inspirational stories in a generation. Our Father’s Dream shows the worst and the best of that world. This movie is about the unstoppable human spirit.

The Story

Our Father's Dream

Our Father’s Dream tells the story of DAVID OSMAN, 10, and his sister MARY OSMAN, 9, who are the only survivors of the massacre of their Christian village by fundamentalist Muslims in South Sudan. David pulls the cross from his mother’s neck and takes Mary on a desperate trek through 2,000 miles of desert, jungle, raging rivers, predatory beast, and the most dangerous foe of all – the man who murdered their parents, COLONEL MAJOK  HOTH, 50 and his marauders, who are desperate to silence the last living witnesses of his carnage.

The Producer

Award-winning producer, director, and writer, Tom Monson says, “Our Father’s Dream can inspire a whole generation.”

“When I first started researching this story, I was amazed by the courage and stamina these two children displayed. After learning more about their story, I discovered that the number of orphans in Africa alone exceeds 50 million. That number astounded me so I decided to make the film to help people understand the plights of these youngsters.”
